Scholarship funds are derived from B-One Thrift Store Sales & Charitable Fundraising by TESC Club Members. Please consider shopping at the B-One Thrift Store & supporting your TESC.
TESC Offers two different types of scholarships to our Ellsworth Community. The first, is a Traditional Academic Scholarship for military and civilian dependents pursuing studies at an accredited college or university during the 2023-2024 academic year. This includes spouses, high school seniors, recent high school graduates, as well as students in their second, third, or fourth year of study. Funds may be used for community college, undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral studies. Students attending a service academy, on a full-ride scholarship, or using 100% of an active duty GI Bill are not eligible. Partial scholarships, or partial use of a GI Bill is authorized. Our intent with this opportunity is to provide an opportunity that supports the education of military dependents, and recognizes their sacrifices.
The second is open to TESC Members Only & supports its members to enhance the portability of careers and support the entrepreneurial spirit of military spouses. Awards will be given up to the amount of $500 to spouses pursuing a training or certification program in 2023 and to spouses seeking to enhance their small business through new capabilities. TESC Members may apply for either Small Business or Career Enhancement - but not both. Funds may be used for activities such as conference attendance, specialized skill training, or continuing education that will support a spouse’s career objective. Small business owners may request funds for training, services, or materials that will grow their business. Our intent with this opportunity is to provide a unique benefit to our members and support the ongoing career objectives of spouses.
Application process is through jotform only - no paperwork to be mailed or emailed. Please review our checklist & overview before submitting.

SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS
The Team Ellsworth Spouses Club is pleased to announce the winners of the 2019-2020 Scholarships and Career Enhancement Awards. Thanks to proceeds from the Thrift Shop, online auction fundraiser, and a special donation from First Command, 14 winners received scholarships ranging from $200 to $1,000.
In lieu of a scholarship luncheon, we met each winner and delivered awards materials "publishers clearinghouse style" to celebrate their achievement. Awards are paid to universities following enrollment verification. The scholarships are foundational to the TESC mission, and recognize the unique challenges and accomplishments of military families. This year we were especially proud to launch a career boost award for spouse professionals and small business owners.
Our recipients truly reflect the best of the Ellsworth Community -- with dependents representing units across the base and retiree families. Thank you to everyone for shopping and volunteering at the thrift store, contributing to the auction, and supporting the TESC. TOGETHER, we proudly contributed $7,000 to help military children and spouses pursue their goals.
Please join us in congratulating the following recent grads and spouses:
